Plein Air Brooks

Rain, Rain all week for the Rose Festival. So I painted Fleet week 2012 in the rain. Here are a few of my 2012 Fleet paintings: USS Dewey and USS Lawrence  dockside in Portland June 2012 HMCS Oriole visiting Portland June 2012. HMCS Oriole from across the Willamette River on the Vera Katz Esplanade.

"MV (Motor Vessel) Ocean Crown" loading wheat in Portland Oregon. "Benson Bubbler" is one of the original artesian water fountains donated by Simon Benson to the city of Portland in 1912. This one is located in front of the Benson House on Portland State Campus. Both of these paintings will be on view at Oregon Society of Artists gallery, 2185 SW Park Place, through July 7, 2012
