Plein air painting at Peninsula Park Portland Oregon, Thursday, May 26 2016. Peggie joined me along with several other painters including tom kane,  Elizabeth Ereckson ,  Maura Jess , and  Carrie Holst . I walked over to talk to Tom and when I came back Carrie had picked up a brush and was helping me with my rose painting. Thank you  Carrie .  This is now a collaborative painting by both  Carrie Holst  and  Brooks Hickerson .  Elizabeth 's  painting is also included here. Plein air painting of the tomato lady that sells tomatoes, eggs, and honey at the Farmers Market. You can see her in pink to the left of the painting. She is here every Wednesday and Saturday Market rain or shine. Tomato Lady to the left. . This Italianesque trefoil design fountain was a gift to the city from Joseph Shemanski in 1926 to thank the city for its kindness to him. Shemanski was a Polish immigrant who went from being a traveling clock salesman to successful businessman. Carl L. Linde designed the cast stone structure that surrounds the bronze sculpture by Oliver Laurence Barrett. Rebecca offered to draw water for Abraham's servant and many camels - possibly as much as a half ton of water. By providence, Rebecca's act of kindness and service revealed her as the bride. Plein ait painting of Azaleas at Crystal Springs Gardens May 3, 2016. This is a do-over. A painting of Chard becomes Azaleas through the magic of plein air painting.
