International Rose Test Garden - the last paintout for 2016. All the roses have been cut to 18 inches high. There are just a few rose blooms left. The yellow trees are ginkgo in their fall colors. The small white blooms in the middle are "Veterans Honor" rose. Kara Wilde, John Lehman, and Paul Lockhart were also painting the last roses standing. Painting the River Place Hotel and marina last Tuesday, November 8. We were such innocents that day. Pesky sun makes this painting get darker and darker as the video goes on. The same thing happens to my eyes when painting in bright sun. Where are the clouds?
