    Your Magnolias are Pink! Northern Magnolias? Around here the leaves come out first or maybe they don't go away? Green all the time then these flowers as big as dinner plates come. I do love Variety!

Plein Air Painting at the International Rose Test Garden in Portland Oregon, July 2, 2015 with Carrie Holst . It was sunny and bright and hot so we only painted from 9am to noon. We were in the Gold Metal Garden. I painted the bright yellow roses called "Julia Child". Carrie was painting the whole garden including the gazebo.
