Legends Hybred Tea Rose plein air painting at the International Rose Test Garden in Portland Oregon, June 28, 2016. The pesky sun makes the background invisible and makes painting difficult. Fortunately I am standing under a Douglas Fir in the middle of the rose garden in very nice shade

Plein air painting in the rain in Portland at the Oregon Maritime Museum aboard the Steamer Portland. Kara Wilde, Paul Lockhart , John Lehman, and I painted under the awning on the deck of the steamer. Nice view but cold and wet. Welcome to plein air painting in Portland. Oregon Society of Artists January 2011 Show

"Sunny Portland", "Congregational Church", and "Benson House" are all in the Oregon Society of Artists show "60+ the New 40s". This show will be on display January 9, 2011 through January 31, 2011, at 2185 SW Park Place, Portland Oregon. The OSA gallery is open 1-4pm Tuesday - Saturday. "Sunny Portland" image is 15x22 inches acrylic. "Congregational Church" image is 22x15 inches acrylic. Benson House image is 15x22 inches - acrylic.
