Baird's Peaches at Wednesday Market in Shemanski Square Portland Oregon today, August 3, 2016. Lots of shoppers at market today. This is a do-over. A winery red umbrella becomes an orange market umbrella through the magic of plein air painting. If we could only get the shoppers to stand still.

Plein air painting in the rain in Portland at the Oregon Maritime Museum aboard the Steamer Portland. Kara Wilde, Paul Lockhart , John Lehman, and I painted under the awning on the deck of the steamer. Nice view but cold and wet. Welcome to plein air painting in Portland.
