Paint out Events in April 2023

 

Portland weather has been cold and wet so far this year, but better paint-out weather is coming. So we are scheduling paint-outs with this optimism.

Wednesday, April 12: Paint Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden, 5801 SE 28th Ave, from 1pm to 3:30pm. There is a $5 entry fee and limited parking. The Garden opens at 1pm on Wednesday. Consider car pool or public transportation.

Thursday, April 13: Paint the Cherry Trees in the International Rose Test Garden, 400 SW Kingston Ave. from 1pm to 3:30pm.

Tuesday, April 18: Paint the Cherry Trees at NE Tillamook and NE 16th from 1pm to 3:30pm.

Thursday, April 20: Paint Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm, 33814 S Meridian Rd, Woodburn, OR, from 10am to 1pm. Bring a picnic lunch for after painting snacks.

Thursday, April 27: Paint Magnolia Trail in Hoyt Arboretum from 1pm to 3:30pm. Meet in Hoyt parking lot (4000 SW Fairview Blvd) at 1pm and take the trail to the Magnolia Trail. Some walking required.

PS. It has come to my attention that Bishops Close Elk Rock Garden has been sold. At least there is a sale pending as of December 12, 2022,  and I don't know if it is open to the public. If I can confirm that the Garden is open to the public, I will schedule a paint-out there this Spring. This may be our last chance to paint there.
