Marcia Burtt plein air painting at Goleta Beach. I attended Marcia's January 2011 plein air painting workshop in Santa Barbara California. Here is her website: http://www.marciaburtt.com/ Marcia's workshop was excellent. She demonstrated her clear colorful painting style every morning and then she personally helped each of us as we painted all day long. We worked from 8:30 am to 5pm every day. Except for Tuesday when we stayed till 6:30pm to paint the rising full moon. Brooks plein air painting at Goleta Beach California. Here are a few of my paintings from Santa Barbara. This is Cabrillo Drive along the Santa Barbara waterfront. Goleta Beach has many interesting rocks. This painter stands alone on Goleta Beach. Goleta Slough runs behind Goleta Park. Oregon Society of Artists January 2011 Show

"Sunny Portland", "Congregational Church", and "Benson House" are all in the Oregon Society of Artists show "60+ the New 40s". This show will be on display January 9, 2011 through January 31, 2011, at 2185 SW Park Place, Portland Oregon. The OSA gallery is open 1-4pm Tuesday - Saturday. "Sunny Portland" image is 15x22 inches acrylic. "Congregational Church" image is 22x15 inches acrylic. Benson House image is 15x22 inches - acrylic.

Portland Oregon had a warm sunny fall that was full of good plein air painting days. Here are a few paintings from fall of 2010 in Portland. Reflections in 200 Market St. glass building. (Acrylic 22x15 in) Dorothy Frear visited us in Portland. So we painted trees in the South Park Blocks. (gauche 15x11 in).
