Marcia Burtt plein air painting at Goleta Beach. I attended Marcia's January 2011 plein air painting workshop in Santa Barbara California. She demonstrated her clear colorful painting style every morning and then she personally helped each of us as we painted all day long. We worked from 8:30 am to 5pm every day. This is Cabrillo Drive along the Santa Barbara waterfront. Goleta Beach has many interesting rocks. This painter stands alone on Goleta Beach. Goleta Slough runs behind Goleta Park. The view across from Goleta Park is stunning. Yucca grow among the rocks at Goleta Park. Here is a photo of the three palms next to the excellent restaurant in Goleta Park.
