Groundworks' last Wednesday Market plein air painting. The Groundworks team has been bringing organic vegetables to Wednesday Market in Shemanski Square for 8 years. They are discontinuing Wednesday Market but will still be present at Saturday  Market at PSU and Sunday Market on NE Prescott.  This painting is for the hard working Groundworks team. Lincoln Hall Trolley Stop on Portland State University campus , Portland Oregon. This plein air painting stop motion video is taking a frame every 10 seconds. Often the trolley stops for only 10 seconds, so I have to paint very fast. Kara Wilde is also accepting this challenge. Speed painting a trolley at its stop. Plein air painting Secret Rose at the International Rose Test Garden in Portland Oregon, July 21, 2016. The rose names "secret" is the light pink rose behind the fountain. TriMet is sponsoring an art contest "Inspired by Streetcar" to help celebrate their 15th year of modern trolley operation. Kara Wilde and I painted streetcars from Tanner Creek Park here in Portland last Tuesday, July 19, 2016. Here is a video of my painting. The weather is cloudy but bright so you can barely see the painting. Where are those Willamette overcast skies when I need them. Kara Wild painting a trolley. Salvadore Molly's Tamales are delicious. You can see the number of customers they have at Wednesday Market.  Here  the pesky sun makes painting very ifficult and makes this video impossible at times.  Janice Hoberg and John Lehman joined me painting the market. Plein air painting "Opening Night" Rose at International Rose Test Garden in Portland Oregon, July 5, 2016. Nice cloudy day that filters the sun light and lets you see the roses and the painting at the same time.
