"Inspired by Streetcar" entry "Trolley on Northrup" painted July 19, 2016


TriMet is sponsoring an art contest "Inspired by Streetcar" to help celebrate their 15th year of modern trolley operation. Kara Wilde and I painted streetcars from Tanner Creek Park here in Portland last Tuesday, July 19, 2016. Here is a video of my painting. The weather is cloudy but bright so you can barely see the painting. Where are those Willamette overcast skies when I need them.

Plein air painting in the rain in Portland at the Oregon Maritime Museum aboard the Steamer Portland.
