Motor/Vessel Trans Friendship was loading grain this afternoon. This is a plein air painting "do-over". You can see the banyan tree become the Broadway bridge and M/V Trans Friendship. This is a tiny piece of the port of Portland along the Willamette River. I used an app call Komadori on my Galaxy s5 phone to take an image every 10 seconds....that way I paint very fast. Trimet celebrated the lighting of Tilikum Crossing  on September 10, 2015. They invited 15 plein air artists to help them celebrate by painting Tilikum Crossing the evening of September 10th 2015. TriMet is opening it's new bridge, Tilikum Crossing, September 12, 2015. To help celebrate this opening several plein air artists are painting Tilikum. Inn at the 5th in Eugene Oregon paint by Brooks  Paint out at Celebrate Eugene August 22, 2015. Very nice plein air event in Eugene. A hundred or so close friends painted all over Eugene.
