Tilikum Crossing Paintout August 30, 2015

TriMet is opening it's new bridge, Tilikum Crossing, September 12, 2015. To help celebrate this opening several plein air artists are painting Tilikum. This paintout was August 30, 2015.  I took a video of Bets Cole painting and several pictures of the other artists. Here is the video and a few of the pictures.

Plein air painting in the rain in Portland at the Oregon Maritime Museum aboard the Steamer Portland. Kara Wilde, Paul Lockhart , John Lehman, and I painted under the awning on the deck of the steamer. Nice view but cold and wet. Welcome to plein air painting in Portland.
