Shang Dynasty Elephant on North Parks Block Portland
I painted the Shang Dynasty Elephant in North Park Blocks Portland today. I made a video of my painting over another painting...I call this my do-over.

Plein air painting in the rain in Portland at the Oregon Maritime Museum aboard the Steamer Portland. Kara Wilde, Paul Lockhart , John Lehman, and I painted under the awning on the deck of the steamer. Nice view but cold and wet. Welcome to plein air painting in Portland. I painted the Smith Block, an "iron" building on SW Naito. Walkers along the waterfront today were very scarce. A little misty rain and everyone disappears. Kara painting Burnside Bridge.
