Centennial Mills Portland Oregon April 18, 2015. This view is disappearing when the lot in the foreground becomes a building later this year. I am standing next to the Marriott Residence Inn across from Union Station. I kept waiting for a Cascade train to come by and one never did. bummer.

Plein air painting in the rain in Portland at the Oregon Maritime Museum aboard the Steamer Portland. Plein Air Painting at the International Rose Test Garden in Portland Oregon, July 2, 2015 with Carrie Holst . It was sunny and bright and hot so we only painted from 9am to noon. We were in the Gold Metal Garden. I painted the bright yellow roses called "Julia Child". Carrie was painting the whole garden including the gazebo.
