Plein Air Painting at the international Rose Test Garden in Portland Oregon today, July 16, 2015...with Kara Wilde. Kara's painting is the 3 rose painting. My paintings are casein on 140lb hot press w/c paper. The tree rose I am painting is named "Betty Boop".;-)

Plein air painting in the rain in Portland at the Oregon Maritime Museum aboard the Steamer Portland. Kara Wilde, Paul Lockhart , John Lehman, and I painted under the awning on the deck of the steamer. Nice view but cold and wet. Welcome to plein air painting in Portland.
