Plein air painting at Hoyt Arboretum, Portland Oregon, October 26, 2015. This is a do-over painting that started as Ankeny Plaza in Portland Oregon and in one hour became the red maples of Hoyt Arboretum. Tara Wild joined me painting the Maples red today.

Plein air painting in the rain in Portland at the Oregon Maritime Museum aboard the Steamer Portland. Kara Wilde, Paul Lockhart , John Lehman, and I painted under the awning on the deck of the steamer. Nice view but cold and wet. Welcome to plein air painting in Portland.
