Plein air painting in Portland Oregon December 2, 2015



This is what plein air painting looks like in Portland December 2, 2015. Cold (45F) and cloudy, we love it. Humberto Gonzalez, Yolanda Valdes-Rementeria, and Kara Wilde joined me today painting the bridges along the Willamette River in back of the CLSB, Collaborative Life Sciences Building. Here are a few pix of the painters and a couple of paintings in progress. Enjoy.

Plein air painting in the rain in Portland at the Oregon Maritime Museum aboard the Steamer Portland. Kara Wilde, Paul Lockhart , John Lehman, and I painted under the awning on the deck of the steamer. Nice view but cold and wet. Welcome to plein air painting in Portland.
