Plein air painting at Peninsula Park Portland Oregon, Thursday, May 26 2016. Peggie joined me along with several other painters including tom kane, Elizabeth Ereckson, Maura Jess, and Carrie Holst. I walked over to talk to Tom and when I came back Carrie had picked up a brush and was helping me with my rose painting. Thank you Carrie. This is now a collaborative painting by both Carrie Holst and Brooks Hickerson. Elizabeth's painting is also included here.

Plein Air Painting at the International Rose Test Garden in Portland Oregon, July 2, 2015 with Carrie Holst . It was sunny and bright and hot so we only painted from 9am to noon. We were in the Gold Metal Garden. I painted the bright yellow roses called "Julia Child". Carrie was painting the whole garden including the gazebo. Oregon Society of Artists January 2011 Show

"Sunny Portland", "Congregational Church", and "Benson House" are all in the Oregon Society of Artists show "60+ the New 40s". This show will be on display January 9, 2011 through January 31, 2011, at 2185 SW Park Place, Portland Oregon. The OSA gallery is open 1-4pm Tuesday - Saturday. "Sunny Portland" image is 15x22 inches acrylic. "Congregational Church" image is 22x15 inches acrylic. Benson House image is 15x22 inches - acrylic.
