This is the view from the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry, OMSI. You can see the dragon boats and the starter boat in the background. This is a do-over acrylic painting. A park scene in Eugene becomes a Dragon Boat Race with downtown Portland in the background.

Plein air painting in the rain in Portland at the Oregon Maritime Museum aboard the Steamer Portland. Oregon Society of Artists January 2011 Show

"Sunny Portland", "Congregational Church", and "Benson House" are all in the Oregon Society of Artists show "60+ the New 40s". This show will be on display January 9, 2011 through January 31, 2011, at 2185 SW Park Place, Portland Oregon. The OSA gallery is open 1-4pm Tuesday - Saturday. "Sunny Portland" image is 15x22 inches acrylic. "Congregational Church" image is 22x15 inches acrylic. Benson House image is 15x22 inches - acrylic.
