Plein air painting at the International Rose Test Garden in Portland Oregon August 4, 2016. The yellow rose on the left is "Just Joey" a beautiful rose. Maura Jess, Kara Wilde, and John Lehman were also painting roses today.

Plein air painting in the rain in Portland at the Oregon Maritime Museum aboard the Steamer Portland. Kara Wilde, Paul Lockhart , John Lehman, and I painted under the awning on the deck of the steamer. Nice view but cold and wet. Welcome to plein air painting in Portland.
