Painting Elephants at the Oregon Zoo in the rain on March 7, 2017. Kara Wilde, John Lehman, and Paul Lockhart braved the rain to paint at the Oregon Zoo. Fortunately the new elephant house is warm and dry. So when they feed the elephants at 1pm we were all set up and ready for them.

Plein air painting in the rain in Portland at the Oregon Maritime Museum aboard the Steamer Portland. Kara Wilde, Paul Lockhart , John Lehman, and I painted under the awning on the deck of the steamer. Nice view but cold and wet. Welcome to plein air painting in Portland.
