Painting the pink flamingos at Cornell Farms March 1, 2017

Plein air painting at Cornell Farms, Portland Oregon. It was dark and stormy, but no rain. Camellias are not blooming yet but the flamingos have arrived...the first sign of Spring. Kara Wilde, John Lehman, Paul Lockhart, and Mary Hall joined me today.

Plein air painting in the rain in Portland at the Oregon Maritime Museum aboard the Steamer Portland. Kara Wilde, Paul Lockhart , John Lehman, and I painted under the awning on the deck of the steamer. Nice view but cold and wet. Welcome to plein air painting in Portland.
