Painting today at Wednesday Market in Shemanski Square Portland Oregon. Cold.50s all day...but no rain yea. Overcast skys helped a lot. Roberta Hodara, Paul Lockhart, John Lehman and Kara Wilde painted today. Paul Lockhart did the oil pastel and I did the acrylic of C and K Flowers booth.

Plein air painting in the rain in Portland at the Oregon Maritime Museum aboard the Steamer Portland. Kara Wilde, Paul Lockhart , John Lehman, and I painted under the awning on the deck of the steamer. Nice view but cold and wet. Welcome to plein air painting in Portland. Plein Air Painting at the International Rose Test Garden in Portland Oregon, July 2, 2015 with Carrie Holst . It was sunny and bright and hot so we only painted from 9am to noon. We were in the Gold Metal Garden. I painted the bright yellow roses called "Julia Child". Carrie was painting the whole garden including the gazebo.
