Painting Crystal Springs Lake with Humberto Gonzalez, Roberta Hodara, and John Lehman. Light rain off and on till 2pm. Then the rain really started. John got the wet-on-wet treatment. All the rest of us went home at 2pm. Beautiful cloudy day in Portland.

Plein air painting in the rain in Portland at the Oregon Maritime Museum aboard the Steamer Portland. Kara Wilde, Paul Lockhart , John Lehman, and I painted under the awning on the deck of the steamer. Nice view but cold and wet. Welcome to plein air painting in Portland.
