Painting Dragon Boats May 18, 2017

Paul Lockhart, John Lehman and I are painting dragon boats at the Riverplace Marina in Portland Oregon, May 18, 2017. The boats are out so the dragon boaters can practice with the real boats for the races the second weekend of June. This is all part of the Portland Rose Festival.

Plein air painting in the rain in Portland at the Oregon Maritime Museum aboard the Steamer Portland. Kara Wilde, Paul Lockhart , John Lehman, and I painted under the awning on the deck of the steamer. Nice view but cold and wet. Welcome to plein air painting in Portland.
