Plein aire painting the Karl Miller Building at Portland State today, November 2, 2017, with Kara Wilde and John Lehman...in the rain.  It rained on and off all afternoon, but we were dry on the 3rd floor walkway between Smith Student Center and Cramer Hall.

Plein air painting in the rain in Portland at the Oregon Maritime Museum aboard the Steamer Portland. Kara Wilde, Paul Lockhart , John Lehman, and I painted under the awning on the deck of the steamer. Nice view but cold and wet. Welcome to plein air painting in Portland.
