PleinAirPainting at Jamison Fountain, Portland Oregon, July 28, 2015. The pesky sun makes this video a disaster. The same thing happens to my eyes in the bright sun or mottled sun, as in this video. This is why I love the overcast sky of Portland Oregon.

Plein air painting in the rain in Portland at the Oregon Maritime Museum aboard the Steamer Portland. Plein Air Painting at the International Rose Test Garden in Portland Oregon, July 2, 2015 with Carrie Holst . It was sunny and bright and hot so we only painted from 9am to noon. We were in the Gold Metal Garden. I painted the bright yellow roses called "Julia Child". Carrie was painting the whole garden including the gazebo.
