Painting King George Rhodies at Crystal Springs April 25, 2017

Painting in the rain with Paul Lockhart, Roberta Hodara, and John Lehman at Crystal Springs Gardens in Portland Oregon. Nice wet Portland day but only about 10% of the Rhodies are blooming. There is a lot more color to come in the month of May.

Plein air painting in the rain in Portland at the Oregon Maritime Museum aboard the Steamer Portland. Kara Wilde, Paul Lockhart , John Lehman, and I painted under the awning on the deck of the steamer. Nice view but cold and wet. Welcome to plein air painting in Portland.
