Painting fFleet week 2017 in Portland Oregon

Painting USCGC Alert and USCGC Bluebell today, June 9, 2017, in Portland Oregon. This is an excellent example as to what the pesky sun can do to my vision while I am painting outside (plein air). This video starts with the soft light of the cloudy day. As the sun comes out the background gets bright-bright to the point I cannot see the painting. This is why I love to paint outside on a cloudy day.
